Houston Heat

It's been 20 years since I hit H-town, and what I remember still remains - the suffocating heat.  How do you combat it?  You can't.  But, what you can do is wear comfortable clothes, eat serious comfort food, hit the newly built Hermann Park, and visit the Menil Collection (including the Rothko chapel).

Killen's BBQ (jalapeno sausage for the win).

Shipley's Donuts (where in addition to donuts, they specialize in Kolaches - a Houston specialty).
